Nevada lawmakers are considering bill SB37 that would allow GPS Tracking of parolees and those granted probation in the state.   If approved, the program will come at no cost to the state.  A state parole official reports that GPS monitoring, if approved, will only be used in “crime areas.”

Often, GPS tracking ankle bracelets are used for tracking parolees and those on probation, particularly violent offenders after they are released from prison.
